I don’t know what it is, but when I get the illustration “just right" something in me clicks. I feel so much heart-energy and get super excited about my creations. That’s what happened with these little penguins! I had a couple of drafts on my screen that just seemed so flat (no personality), and all it took was me getting my daughter to come stand over my shoulder as I made a couple of adjustments to one of them and BAM! That was it. I had it. It all started with the one with the bow! I know my daughter would be annoyed if she learned that I made a blog post about this without sharing the name she gave him – “Poncho". Hope you find them as cute and entertaining as I do!
